To qualify for a driver completion certificate, a student must attend a 15 hour classroom session and achieve a score of 80% on the classroom exam and complete a minimum of 10 hours in-vehicle training with a minimum score of 75%.

The two-day classroom training session includes:

  • Interactive lessons conducted in a spacious and comfortable learning environment. Learn about:

    • Traffic laws, signs, signals and pavement markings
    • Demerit point system
    • Basic driving skills
    • Conditions affecting driving
    • Driver fitness

    • Driving in adverse conditions
    • Alcohol and its effects on the human body
    • Dealing with emergencies
    • In case of a collision
    • Insuring your vehicle
